ü ALWAYS KEEP BOTH THE SUCTION VALVE OPEN
ü THROTTLE THE MAIN DISCHARGE TO 3/4TH OF A TURN AND SERVICE DISCHARGE TO 1/4TH OF A TURN
ü START AND RUN THE PUMP
ü CHECK THE ALIGNMENT OF THE FLY WHEEL
ü ENSURE THAT THE BEAKERS ARE IN PLACE, SECURED PROPERLY AND EMPTY
ü SWITCH ON THE CONTROL PANEL
ü SET THE CONDITION (LOAD,SULPHUR AND LINER WEAR) AT MAXIMUM RANGE TO PURGE THE SYSTEM
ü SWITCH ON THE POWER TO SOLENOID VALVE
ü SWITCH ON THE FLY WHEEL MOTOR
ü ONCE THE SYSTEM IS PURGED STOP THE FLYWHEEL AND EMPTY THE BEAKERS
ü REPLACE THE BEAKERS

ü SULPHUR VARYING FROM 0 TO 4.5% OF THE BUNKER FUEL

ü CYLINDER WEAR CAN BE VARIED FROM 0 TO 1.8mm, WHICH IS 0.75% OF CYLINDER BORE (240mm)

ü TO RUN THE SYSTEM FOR 6 TO 7 MINUTES SHUT THE SERVICE DISCHARGE LINE AND KEEP THE MAIN DISCHARGE FULLY OPEN
ü IF YOU ARE INTENDING TO RUN THE SYSTEM FOR 15 MINUTES THROTTLE THE VALVES TO INTIAL CONDITIONS
ü WHILE OPERATING THE CRANK OF THE CROSS SECTION , ENSURE THAT THE MAIN DISCHARGE LINE IS KEPT FULLY OPEN
